Mathew Simmons shares his thoughts on the oil industry in the pdf document below. His insights into the infrastructure situation which he estimates will cost 100 trillion dollars to upgrade (oil delivery system) with a million man force over a decade is of great interest to me, since I too believe that infrastructure will become a paramount issue in the coming years. It's obvious to me that the world is in deep denial as to the state of energy delivery systems, it's a massive situation that has no quick and easy solutions. Steel rusts, components corrode, parts weaken under expansion and contraction.

We are now entering the end of use phase.
